ABOUT
Gordon Plastering, Inc. was founded by CEO Carl Gordon. Mr. Gordon has over 20 years of experience in plastering and fire proofing in the Bay Area. He is second generation within this trade, stemming back to his fathers' migration from plastering work in the United Kingdom to the local union in San Francisco, CA. In 2015, Mr. Gordon decided to to open his own business to help create job opportunities for local union workers; including women advancing in a male dominant field. Taking pride in the Bay Area, the home in which he was raised, Mr. Gordon wants to continue helping with the new developments as well as the upkeep of staple structures known to the Bay Area and neighboring cities.
Gordon Plastering, Inc. provides interior plaster; specializing in Italian and Japanese finish. The company also offers exterior stucco and fireproofing services of architectural steel beams for new developments as well as existing resprays. Gordon Plastering, Inc. believes in quality work with a professional and clean finish.

Reconstructing Mental Health
In addition to adding to the beautiful Bay Area landscape, Carl Gordon started a business to help create job opportunities for local union workers; including women advancing in a male dominant field. Gordon Plastering has been working with underserved members of the Bay Area community, unhoused populations, those affected by mental health, at-risk youth and those impacted by the justice system to learn about job opportunities and the trade to help bring opportunities for change.
Gordon Plastering is committed to destigmatizing and reconstructing mental health in the work place. The Gordon Plastering team receives weekly mental health workshops with an on staff therapist. Mental health in the workplace, especially in construction has been the number one cause for loss of talent. This urgency has been the motivation to bring mental health awareness to the workplace and ensure staff have the support and tools needed to manage their mental health both on and off work.
